This video begins in a garden contained within a highway interchange where Ekamai Road intersects with the Saen Saep Canal (The Klong) in Bangkok, Thailand. In this video, I go in search of the place from where a beautiful photograph of The Royal Thai Palace aka The Grand Palace was shot. I used the photograph of the Palace with the skyline of Bangkok as a backdrop for a new banner picture for my social media.

My quest to find the origin of the photograph takes me to a Bangkok neighborhood accessed from the light rail mass transit line MRT Blue Line Itsaraphap Station. I got into the iconic temple Wat Arun from the back door on the south/west side of the temple. Usually tourist arrive at the Wat by a river boat boarded near the Grand Palace on the North/East side of the Chao Phraya River. I accessed Wat Arun from the South/West side through a back alley near the Royal Thai Navy HQ in a part of town Google Maps calls Thawisuk Village.

The photograph featured in this video is a cityscape shot by "Sasint" on pixabay: https://pixabay.com/photos/grand-palace-bangkok-temple-night-1822487/

The Garden where I opened the video is unnamed and unmarked on Google Here are precise coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/k1263dhP9Xnr1Ufj8
