Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Buttercup - September/October 2022

This Penny's quest focuses on the CORE plant Buttercup and was offered between between September 28, 2022 and October 5, 2022.

Buttercup is a member of the Contain-Mint family.
Buttercup costs 25 Sun.
Launches a slab of butter at attacking zombies.
Butter deals 100 damage. (+50 per level)
Butter will stun the zombie for eight (8) seconds.

Commentary:
An interesting plant - believes not in firing first but will defend herself. With its close combat capabilities, she does not fire until she sees the whites of the zombie's eyes. 😜️

Bottom Line:
As a close range plant, one can compare her to Bonk Choy or Pokra. Kernel-pult is the obvious comparison for the buttering capabilities. Let's look at each one separately.

As a close range plant, she is better suited to stall zombies rather than actually defeating them. But this is also offset by her low Sun cost. She fills the void of a plant which can activate itself more than once unlike Iceberg Lettuce, Stallia or Stunion.

Whereas Buttercup is a short range plant, Kernel-pult is long range. However, Kernel-pult only has a chance to stun a zombie. Buttercup guarantees a stunned zombie.

The objective of many levels is to survive the zombie wave - not survive for a limited length of time. Since surviving a wave means eliminating zombies, I want plants which can eliminate zombies - not delay the inevitable. Buttercup and other stalling plants would be better suited on levels were surviving for a limited length of time is desirable.
