The prime minister also visited Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island, and Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, earlier in the week to meet with residents affected by Fiona. The post-tropical storm made landfall in eastern Nova Scotia on the morning of September 24, bringing damaging winds, flooding, and power outages to much of Atlantic Canada and parts of Quebec.
