SEPTEMBER 28, 2022

• Hurricane Ian slowly trudges up the Florida Gulf coastline as it prepares to weaken across the mainland. It is a slow-mover. Often compared to Hurricane Charley (2004), this storm will cause more damage because it is wider and will impact a greater area. It is approximately 450 miles in width. 150+ lightning strikes have already been reported as of 11 a.m. in southern Florida as power outages have reached 155,000 customers.

• Stay tuned for all the latest Hurricane news as it dumps in my backyard in West Saint Petersburg, Florida. It will get worse before it gets better.
