Land reuse project to revitalize historic barrios near Phoenix airport

In the Phoenix neighborhoods west and southwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, you'll likely find several empty lots with signage showing the lots are Phoenix city property and no trespassing is allowed. Despite the signs, homes still stand in the areas. They are checkered throughout these neighborhoods, serving as a reminder of what used to be here.
