Gainesville Police Officers save man from burning car

Gainesville Police officers responded to a traffic crash and vehicle fire on 3800 West Newberry Road.

Police say the crash happened around 11:50 p.m. Saturday evening.

Officer Angus and Officer Mullins arrived on scene to find a driver trapped inside his vehicle, Gainesville Police said.

The two officers pulled the driver out of the back door while the vehicle was on fire, then dragged him to safety.
