Remember: God lives in your hearts, and in the hearts of your loved ones.

The Devil? Oh, he lives in the institutions.

You know what institutions are. They are the places with the real estate, the money, the titles, the payrolls, the lawyers, the liability insurance, the egos, the committees, the money, the rules and regulations, the benefit packages, the pensions, the posturing, the pretensions, the fakers, the posers, the peacocks, the money and the money ... and all the rest. Not to mention the money. Did I mention the money? I don't want to forget that one.

You'll get SOME truth from the institutions.

But to say it will be unreliable is to make an understatement of epic proportions. The institutions will basically tell us the MINIMUM truth needed to keep us on the hook for feeding their ever-increasingly voracious pet monster, be it a dragon, a gargoyle, an Ogre, a Wurm, a Werewolf, a Banshee, a Krampys... or whatever.

REMEMBER: The institutions of today are the pagan faiths of yesterday, complete with their doctrines, dogmas, rites, rituals, fees, liturgies, buildings, priest classes, hierarchies, secret alliances with civil authorities, budgets and the like.

And, eventually, like the pagan faiths, when left unchecked and unscrutinized, they ALL end up cutting the hearts out, and eating the hearts, of those who support them.

REMEMBER: Religion is to faith as government is to society: A necessary evil.

Inasmuch as it is necessary we should support and honor it. Inasmuch as it is evil, we must continually seek to minimize its need and relevance in our lives.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is an agent of the institutions, and an agent of him who inhabits them: The Devil himself.
