The nature of late night TV was relatable humor. That time has long since passed. Whether it's on weekdays or weekends, NBC has lost their late night audience.

SNL was a flagship. An irreverent late night show with a cast of brilliant writers and performers. They were anything but PC and more often than not anti-establishment. Now, not so much.

Edgy skits and jokes at everyone's expense were the norm. Now we find far more laughs in the new Beavis and Butthead episodes.

Let's take a look at the massive cast exit for the second year in a row & how this show just want to limp to the arbitrary 50 mark.
