One of the wildest and most infamous high speed chases ever caught on tape. This chase began hours after the perpetrator, George Harold Davis, shot seven people in a drunken rampage and later shot a Ravalli County Sheriff's Deputy during a traffic stop.

The first angle, shot by Missoula County Sheriff's Deputy Dave Conway, shows Davis attempt to run him off the road in a head-on collision. Conway dodges the collision, turns around, and pursues Davis. Soon after, Montana State Trooper Jason Hildenstab also joins the pursuit. Both Conway and Hildenstab catch up to Davis as the chase jumps onto Highway 12, and Hildenstab later takes the lead as they head towards the Idaho state line.

The second angle, shot by a dashcam mounted in Trooper Hildenstab's patrol car, shows Davis slamming on his brakes, causing Trooper Hildenstab to collide with Davis and make him spin out. Trooper Hildenstab orders Davis to surrender, but Davis suddenly jumps out, crouches behind his rear bumper, and opens fire. Deputy Conway arrives on the scene and unloads his shotgun towards Davis, the latter of whom jumps back into his car and flees the scene. With Trooper Hildenstab's car out of commission, both he and Conway resume the pursuit in Conway's cruiser.

The third angle, shot by a camera mounted in an Idaho State Trooper's vehicle, shows a trooper laying down a spike strip at the Idaho / Montana state line. As the chase rolls through, the spike strips blow out Davis' tires, causing him to screech to a stop, open his door, and open fire on the approaching officers. Conway seizes an opportunity and crashes his car hard into Davis' car at 60 mph.

Trooper Hildenstab's leg is broken in the crash, but he, Conway, and Davis survive. George Davis is arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced to 11 life terms in prison, the longest sentence in the history of the state of Montana.
