in this video I talked about the hotly contested issue of eating cooked Foods. so I don't eat cooked Foods anymore and I don't have cravings for cooked Foods anymore because they make me feel bad and I know they make me feel bad. however people new to the diet may still have cravings or positive psychological associations with certain cooked Foods. if that's your problem and you don't want to eat cooked Foods you should try to eat more raw foods. in the book and in q&a's AV does suggest that sometimes it is necessary to eat cooked starches or plain baked chicken to stop a detoxification. I think there may be other ways to stop a detox such as lime juice like a lot of lime juice with some honey and sparkling water but for what I understand lime juice is only antibacterial so I'm not sure how that helps if you have a flu or something. it also comes down to mindset you have to be willing and committed to take action and put a plan into action if you're not really committed it doesn't matter what advice you're given or what advice is out there you won't necessarily follow through 100% on that plan. it can either be a good thing or a bad thing because you may slip back into old habits and you may realize they are disgusting or unpleasant which will break positive psychological associations with those old habits and you'll be more motivated to stick to your new plan and keep it. on the other hand you may be content with those habits and you may not want to continue on your plan that you had set out in this case usually the need or interest for something new in your life is not a priority. everyone has different goals and objectives with this diet some people want to eat it to fix something and then they may not want to continue with it other people may want to stick with it for life. I'm not here to play police or force my beliefs or what I do on to other people I'm here to give feedback and advice based on my experiences
