James Bond is "Evolving as Men Are" With New Casting on the Horizon, Women to Have an INCREASED Role

Masculinity has been under attack for decades now. One of the best examples of male excellence has always been, at least in a fictional sense, Ian Fleming's MI6 super spy, James Bond. With the end of the Daniel Craig era of Bond, the show runners are looking to "evolve" the formula that made the franchise so successful. They want a more "modernized" version of Bond, a more emotional 007. Yuck, no one seriously wants that. The producers want a larger role for females in the stories, as if Bond Girls weren't as big of a casting reveal as you can get in Hollywood.

The business is so out of touch with what people want it's amazing. There is a thirst for conventional masculinity and femininity now that is going untapped in film that it appears is going to pass by whatever incarnation of Bond we will be introduced to October 5th. Whether it be Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, Richard Madden, Regé Jean-Page or Idris Elba, it won't be the Bond of old, it won't even be the Bond of Craig. Brace for the franchise to be even less than you expected.
