Press 1 to use the machine gun

but it's not very good at aiming in flight so it's not very useful either.
You can switch to a machine gun immediately after shooting a missile for double insurance. The next air battle is the same dodging enemy missiles and then letting them eat your own missiles. Press 1 to use the anti-radar missile lock on to the target and fire.
