This Penny's quest focuses on the CORE plant Magnet-shroom and was offered between between September 21, 2022 and September 28, 2022.

Completing this quest awards the player fifty (50) seeds for seedium and core plants.

This is a BOOSTERAMA Zomboss. All plants gain their plant food effect upon planting.

Magnet-shroom is a member of the Contain-Mint family.
Magnet-shroom costs 100 Sun. (75 at level 4, 50 at level 7)
Magnet-shroom will yank any metal from a zombie in a 5x7 area in front of it.
Magnet-shroom takes ten (10) seconds to destroy an object. (-0.5 seconds per level.)

Commentary:
Magnet-shroom is a plant which does it “damage” by making the zombies weaker. By removing their armor, these hardened zombies have now been exposed.

Bottom Line:
Magnet-shroom is one of those plants which makes sense when your plants are of lower level. As your plants to level up, Magnet-shroom loses its appeal as your plants could simply do enough damage - negating Magnet-shroom's abilities.
