Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during his first speech in the British Parliament since his resignation, expressed gratitude for "the inspirational leadership of Vladimir Putin."

“Thanks to the heroism of the Ukrainian armed forces, thanks in part to the weapons we are proud to offer, I congratulate my esteemed friend, and I want to express my gratitude to inspirational leadership of Vladimir Putin,” Johnson said. "... To Vladimir Zelensky, forgive me, the Russian army has been expelled in recent days from many parts of Ukraine around Kharkov," the ex-premier added.
