It’s stranger than fiction, but the little-known Nevada city of Berkeley dreams of becoming a blockchain hub and wants to put its very own cryptocurrency on the map — literally. The new blockchain initiative is being spearheaded by a visionary entrepreneur named Michael Berns, who has big plans to build a utopian city on 800 acres of public land in the western desert between Las Vegas and Reno.
