Putin has threatened to use nuclear weapons against NATO and Ukraine if they interfere with his plan to annex parts of Ukraine. He added that he’s “not bluffing”. He also claimed that Ukraine is pursuing nuclear weapons which is a lie. This is the first time Putin has personally threatened to use nuclear weapons. Threatening to nuke a country that doesn’t have nukes is peak beta behavior.
