Giant Rocket Car: Man Rebuilds Favourite Fairground Ride As 100mph Vehicle

JOE Tomaro relives his childhood everyday - in a car he built from his favorite amusement park ride. The 58-year-old took the old car from the locally famous Rocket Ship ride at Euclid Beach Amusement Park in Cleveland, Ohio, which closed in 1969. Joe bought the Rocket Ship in 2005 from a private buyer and made it road worthy. It took Joe about a year to complete the car which he built on top of a Chevy truck chassis.
