Battlefield 1943 recreates the classic maps and weapons and vehicles of Battlefield 1 using the Frost engine and supports the destruction effect of building frames. The game supports up to 24 simultaneous online battles and focuses on entertaining gameplay with faster paced and more exhilarating combat than Battlefield 1. The game set records for "day one sales" and "week one sales" for Xbox 360 and PS3 downloadable games, and was so popular that the official servers nearly crashed.
