C. S. Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland, in 1898. Known as one of the intellectual giants of the 20th century and one of the most influential writers of His time, Lewis wrote more than 30 books for Christian and non-Christian audiences. Mere Christianity and The Chronicles of Narnia are among his best-known works. Lewis was an atheist until 1929, when he accepted theism and then converted to Christianity in 1931. Beyond his writings, his contribution to Christianity is his intellectual superiority being unable to disprove Christianity leading to his conviction to speak out on his well-known platform to advance Christian understanding.
