My Story
Between learning my new position, getting to know new coworkers, and adjusting to a new schedule, I was having a hard time. And the stress started to show up physically… Headaches. Insomnia. Digestive problems. Honestly? I was a mess!
It got to the point where I was having mini-panic attacks at work. I could hide it and look “normal” on the outside, but on the inside, I was doing everything I could just to breathe normally. I told my best friend that I was seriously thinking about quitting my new job. “I thought you loved it,” she said. “I love what I do,” I told her. “But right now, the stress is getting to me so bad that I don’t think I can hang in there long enough to adjust.” The next day, my friend left a gift on my doorstep… It was a beautiful water bottle with an amethyst crystal in the center.
I was touched… it really was a beautiful bottle. But I was totally skeptical about it actually doing anything.

I mean, I’ve never been into crystals and all that. Lydia’s encouragement led to me decide to tough it out another few weeks and see if things got better. I took the Gem Bottle with me every day, as a reminder of her support.
