MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS | PRICE ADJUSTMENT

Hey everyone! What do you do when you have to use a different mower on a lawn, increasing the time it takes? You adjust the rate! I was able to use my Exmark 60" Turf Tracer on this whole lawn just a couple of weeks ago. Now that they install a new fence and the access gate is smaller, I have to mow the back with my Exmark Commercial 30. 60" of cutting width vs. 30" of cutting width. It took about 7 minutes longer than what it used to. I barely hit my per man hour rate at the old price and time, so adding more time on a lawn will bite into that substantially.

Let me know what you guys would adjust the rate to. I SHOULD be at $65 if the lawn takes us 25 minutes. I am not sure the customer would like a $16 rate adjustment, so I am thinking of doing maybe $56 or so for the rest of the year. I do not plan to increase my per man hour rate goal for 2023, but I do plan to raise my rates. So, for the next few weeks of mowing here in Denver, I can cut the lawn at a reduced rate and next year raise it to what it needs to be to hit my per man hour rate.
