Why Are Facebook Ads So Important For Auto Sales?

So another time when I was on the road, actually, it was a lot of times when we were on the road, we we'd go to stores and for whatever reason, you know, human error, whether for getting that it's a holiday, whatever it is, right? The mail wouldn't go out, it wouldn't hit and you'd have guys sitting around for three or four or five days, sometimes a week, and they wouldn't be able to make any money because there would be no traffic.

Right. So that's why Facebook is actually much better. If not, I won't say that it not necessarily it needs to replace direct mail, but it can. And in most instances it does perform better than direct mail. But it's also something good to layer on top of direct mail, right? Because if for whatever reason, the direct mail doesn't go out, at least you have Facebook that you can pause and reschedule for another time.

Right? So if for whatever reason, you've got a sale and hurricane hit, you got it planned. The mill's already been planned out. It's already already printed. The dates are on it. You're stuck. You're stuck with that mail with Facebook. We can change the day on the creative. It's really easy. It doesn't cost anything. We can change the schedule at the time of the of the event so we can push it off a week or two weeks or whatever.

Right. Or let's say, for instance, you start running a Facebook event and you have too much traffic because sometimes that does happen. We've done events in some areas where we didn't expect them to really pop off the way they did. It's still over three or four salespeople. All of a sudden they've got 100 appointments, they've got 47 appointments on a Saturday, plus their normal traffic on Saturday, and they're like, Hey, can we just slow this down a little bit?

So that's pretty cool. We can also go in and just adjust the budget so down we could pause the ad, take that and extend it out and use it, you know, for, you know, two weeks later or whatever. So that's the cool thing about Facebook. So that's one of the biggest benefits is even if you're on the road, if you've got if you've got a sales team and you got some staff and you're worried, which happens sometimes, right?

Sometimes the post office, the mail just doesn't hit the Daily News or whatever. Right. It just didn't get done. It's not the right place at the right time. You know, you've got apartment complexes. A lot of times they'll just drop off like 50, those big box, a bunch of like, you know, there's 50 boxes out of mail in a mailbox compartment thing or whatever, an apartment complex, and they'll just literally just drop 50 right next to it.

And they call that delivered, right? But at the end of the day, those people are getting targeted. Whereas with Facebook, we could actually make sure that those people are targeted with these ads because you never know who's going to be in the market to buy a car.
