Canada: Anglican national memorial service for Queen Elizabeth II in Toronto – September 20, 2022

Ontario Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell and Ontario Premier Doug Ford are among those taking part in the Anglican Church of Canada's national memorial service in Toronto in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen died on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, ending a 70-year reign as the Canadian head of state. The ceremony in Toronto is taking place one day after the state funeral for the Queen in London and Canada’s national commemorative ceremony in Ottawa.
