According to FOX News, When compared with recent years, New Orleans has seen a 141% increase in homicides over St. Louis, making it the murder capital of America. As of Sept. 11, there were 52 homicides per 100,000 residents, according to the Metropolitan Crime Commission, an organization that tracks crime and tries to reduce it.
