Day 237🥩🔥 Weight Loss Carnivore Diet Weekly Meal Prep Health Benefits By Carnivore Dad
Day 237🥩🔥🏋️♂️ being that I ate soo much cheese over the weekend I effortlessly fasted and didn’t get hungry till almost noon today. Did my 4th workout since starting carnivore. I’ve been giving myself 3-4 days in between workouts for recovery lately, however because my muscles seem to be recovering a lot faster than I can remember in the past, I’m thinking I could do daily workouts or at least every other day soon. I have a tendency to over-do it on these types of challenging things so I really ought to take it easy so I don’t over-do it and injure myself.
11:00am - oxtail meat with homemade beef bone broth
12:30pm - 2 gf beef patties (0.66lbs) + 4 strips bacon
5:15pm - Workout
Strength:
Strict Press build to heavy set of 3 reps. Because this is my 4th workout since starting carnivore I’m still taking it easy so I did 75lbs for 3-5 reps for 5 rounds.
WOD:
"Lynne's" AMRAP 20mins - 500m bike, MAX unbroken push jerks (135/95 or 95/75), 500m bike, MAX unbroken strict pull ups. I used 75lbs for push jerks and got 59 reps of push jerks and strict pull ups.
6:30pm - 2 lamb loin chops (0.6lbs) + 5 organic air chilled chicken wings (approx 0.4lbs) with salt
8:00pm - 8 organic air chilled chicken wings (approx 0.65lbs) with salt
I (Paul Woolley) am a father of 2 great boys, husband to 1 beautiful wife :), business owner that started carnivore diet to optimize my life, increase performance, and to lose some of that jiggley fat off my midsection. For the past few years, I thought the people that did carnivore and shared it online were influencers doing it to spite vegans and get clicks online, which is hilarious, but I'm now thinking that was not entirely true :) The reason I got started on this carnivore style of living is because one day while scrolling YouTube I ran across a JRE podcast where Joe Rogan asked Jordan B Peterson about what he's doing to have lost so much weight. Jordan shared his carnivore lifestyle and even shared some of his daughter Mikhaila Peterson story overcoming autoimmune issues on a strict version of this carnivore diet she calls the Lion Diet. I highly recommend you search both videos where they tell their stories. Next, I read The Carnivore Code by Dr. Paul Saladino to get the "how to" do this correctly. And during my daily lunch breaks I would watch videos by Dr. Anthony Chaffee, Dr. Shawn Baker, and Dr. Ken D Berry to learn more about how to do this effectively and here I am, down 54+lbs, sharing my carnivore diet transformation journey.
