I made this unfinished 3/4-inch thick Halloween Jack-o-Lantern in my shop using traditional woodworking tools. I lightly sanded the pumpkin/cat with 220-grit sandpaper. It comes ready to paint.

Because of the thickness of the pumpkin (3/4-inch), it is freestanding and will easily sit on a shelf, tabletop, windowsill, or door frame.

This jack-o-lantern is made from MDF and should not be used outdoors unless completely sealed and painted. If you need an outdoor version, don't hesitate to contact me. I can make these from other materials and in any size.

I made the first batch of these for my grandson, Odin. He is crazy about anything Halloween-related. He loved them. They make great Halloween decorations, but for my grandson, they are toys. He builds haunted houses from blocks and uses them as scary occupants.
