Petaling Street is Kuala Lumpur’s world-famous Chinatown. It is the older part of KL, similar to Bukit Bintang, where the hustling and bustling never ends. The “Green Dragon,” a huge transparent green roof cover that spans the entire road, was built in 2003. The street is now completely pedestrianized and has been converted into a pedestrian shopping venue. The street is designated as a heritage site in Malaysia.

If you’re hungry or thirsty, the restaurants and hawker stalls in this area will be more than enough to soothe your thirst and satisfy your stomach. You’re in for an exceptional gourmet experience, with everything from fast foods to local Chinese street food favorites like fruit juices, herbal tea, yong tau foo, curry noodles, beef noodles, chee cheong fun, Hokkien mee, Hainanese chicken rice, wantan noodles, asam laksa, burgers, steamboat, dried meat and so on.
