Why Should You Not Regret Hardship?

I remember being on the road this one time, and I was so broke. Like, so broke. It's like, not even funny, really. Thank God they had, like, $23 in the bank account and I drove a Chevy Avalanche, that guy like, no miles to the gallon and had I think gas at the time was like four bucks for almost $4 a gallon.

And so and I had to be in Kentucky, so I had to get the Kentucky to my buddy's house so I could ride with him the rest of the way to like Ohio, 3 to 4 week, a three, three week road trip. So I went to my bank account, Bank of America at the time back then I know it's still the case, but back then I would say to him, I got my 20 bucks out.

Back then you can swipe your car in for gas and it would let you get a $100 worth of gas. It would only hit your account for a buck and they didn't charge overdraft fees. So once they got my 20 bucks, that's what I had for spending money on a three week trip. Wild, crazy to even think about.

And then I so I went filled up my avalanche. I want to say that where I was at Kentucky was like 480 something miles. Like my tanks go through like 555 baby and didn't drive like an asshole. Which for me a lot of times that's pretty hard to do. But I made it. I made it there. And then I remember the hotel in the hotel room or the hotel the parking lot.

There was actually a Taco Bell and I would eat breakfast at the hotel, so I had a continental breakfast, so that was free. And then and then I would have hopefully have lunch or whatever at the dealership if the dealership didn't provide loans. So there wasn't just like, you know, someone throwing out handouts at night. I would go to Taco Bell and it was like $2.12 for their $2 meals was a five layer cheesy burrito, a drink and two other things.

It was like four things for two. It was pretty good deal. Honestly, I don't know how they could even afford to do it, but I guess it's because you get that in other things anyway. So I survived a week off that ended up getting the hat trick, got $100 cash, and first thing that night I was still like worried about money because of the road for a few weeks, but we ended up going out as a team, so paid for that.

So I was pretty cool. But man, I, I remember being completely, completely like absolutely broke. And now I think back on those hardships and they ultimately made me who I am now. You know, a lot of people say, like, do you have any regrets or is there anything you regret? But but there's really no need to have regrets because especially for me, because I'm pretty I'm pretty happy with where I am, a life of cars and businesses, toys, and pretty much can do whatever I want, which is great.

And that's because of I learned how to sell because it was either sell or be broke and I hated being broke.
