What’s possible if you DECIDE, FOCUS and take the correct ACTION?⁣⁣

It was 2458 days ago… I was UNHAPPY. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My opponents were TIME and MINDSET. I had accumulated years of injuries from martial arts, sports and eating dill pickle chips watching Netflix.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My pants no longer fit. Once upon a time I was fit and fast. But joining a flashy GLOBO-gym and walking a Stairmaster just wasn't going to cut it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I was lying on the couch surfing Youtube and a thumbnail caught my eye.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
"𝘒𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯." ⁣⁣

𝐇𝐞𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞!⁣⁣

Fast forward 3 weeks later. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I found myself standing in shorts and a t-shirt in a freezing warehouse in the industrial section of town. There were 2 ladies with me in my group. A muscled 20-something with a man bun was holding a plastic pipe telling us above the booming rap music about our workout.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Just four minutes later I had sweat dripping off my face and my lungs were heaving. Am I really out of shape this much?⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Two days later I was so stiff I could barely walk. But I showed up again for another class. This time it was me, one of the ladies from the previous class, and a thirty-something dude in a headband with a neck tattoo. I felt out of place.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I kept showing up. Sweating. I lost 20 pounds in 3 months. I could smell the dill pickle chips melting off my body! I started to feel like my old self again.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
THIS TIME...instead of quitting, I kept showing up. Four or five times a week for the next half decade.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I started competing in the CrossFit Open, then coaching other athletes. Helping people change their lives is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
It’s my goal to have an incredible impact on people's lives. ⁣⁣⁣

What’s my advice to anyone starting or RESTARTING their fitness journey?⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
1) Take full responsibility for your life, actions and what’s in your control. If you don’t, you’ll never be in control of your direction towards reaching your GOALS.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
2) Sacrifice what you need to sacrifice. Nothing changes when you think, change happens when you act.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
3) Tell yourself that your dreams count. Amazing things happen when we are truly committed right?⁣⁣
