How Did I Upcycle Old Shell Necklaces?

I'd been collecting old, broken jewelry for many many years, and surprisingly ended up with soooo many shell necklaces. First thought I could use them "as is" still on their strings, but no, in order for them to properly express themselves, I had to remove them all from their bondage. Hmm... sounds like what God has to do for us these days; Jesus is untangling and removing us from our bondages, yay!
