A political push is underway to block an alleged Trump “coup.”

House Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) and Fred Upton (R-Mich.) are pushing a new bill known as the Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act, which would alter the 1887 Electoral Count Act, and change the way Electoral College votes would be counted in a Presidential election. This is being touted as a way to stop former President Donald Trump and his allies from challenging the results in the 2020 elections.

Meanwhile, Florida and Texas are sending buses of immigrants into Democrat-majority communities across the United States—particularly near the homes of leading politicians, including Martha’s Vineyard near a home of former President Barack Obama. The move is raising awareness of the border crisis, while also sparking political controversy.

In this live Q&A with Crossroads host Joshua Philipp, we’ll discuss these stories and others, and answer questions from the audience.
