Russian troops struck the Pivdennoukrainsk nuclear power plant in Ukraine's southern Mykolaiv region early on Monday (September 19) but its reactors have not been damaged and are working normally, Ukraine's state nuclear company Energoatom said. On the Telegram messaging app, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy posted photographs showing damage and CCTV video he said showed the moment of explosion. Reuters could not independently verify the video.
