Nevada Reno Air Races: Plane crash at Nevada race caught on 2 videos

The plane crashed during the annual Reno Air Races in Reno, Nevada. The pilot died as a result of the accident, according to the Reno Air Racing Association.

Footage appeared on the Internet showing how the plane falls to the ground and catches fire, after which an explosion occurs.

"During the race... there was a fatal incident," the association said in a Twitter post.

It is noted that other pilots were not injured. The organization added that they are suspending all racing activities in 2022.

The police also confirmed the death of the pilot, detectives are working on the spot. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration launched an investigation into the incident
