Sunday Longplay - Zelda 2 35th Anniversary Edition (NES ROM Hack Demo)

This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm playing a work in progress ROM hack to celebrate the 35th anniversary of one of my favorite video games of all time! Welcome to Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link 35th Anniversary Edition!

This hack doesn't change the game layout from the original game, but overhauls the sprites and animations as well as implementing the Quality of Life improvements from Zelda 2 Redux. Some of the custom sprites pay homage to characters from other Zelda games.

The version I'm playing is still a demo work in progress, as some of the sprites and palace textures still remain unchanged. The full version should be available in November on the day of Zelda 2's 35th anniversary.
