The Beginning Of the Pinkwhale Club Magic Hotel Renovation Project

I started the renovation in august of 2022.

The buildings were abandoned for a long time and now the owner wants to renovate all and open a resort with 13 apartments, straight on the beach.

I love the project, and the place this hotel is located. We are in Tenerife, Spain, right next to the Playa De Burro, a fantastic location in the Atlantic Ocean!

Honestly, this project popped up in my life in a very mysterious way but regardless of the red flags, I'm very enthusiastic about it.

I hope my videos will help You learn about the basics of simple construction and renovation techniques that anyone can do at home, (but do it with caution!!!) :-D

My name is Attila, I'm the funder of the PinkWhale Club.
In the beginning, I studied construction and for about 15 years I actively took part in the industry back in Hungary, where I was born. I've learned many things, I've done many things like drywalls, stone, and plaster works, and I lead constructions like the Hungarian National Theatre stone works, shopping malls, fancy private villas, and old building renovations just to mention a few.

Luckily, in the end, I got tired of the stress that comes with the industry and I got my backpack, got hired by an ocean liner company, and started to travel the world about 17 years ago that has been the BEST decision and the biggest adventure in my life.
I still feel about the construction though! For me, it's a way of self-expression, and I love to fix things, create and build. The Magic Hotel project is the biggest challenge and adventure of my life as a construction technician, not only because I do it all alone, it's totally D.I.Y. which means there is no 'professional' help or any high-tech equipment involved, but right now my legal situation with the owner is also very unstable, however, I hope it gets sorted soon.
