Can You Walk In "Who's Yella In The Cellar" On 'Night Of 100 Frights' Without The Plungers?

So, I wanted to know if it were possible to walk through the hallway (in the basement) without the plungers. Because Scooby-Doo puts the plungers on towards the end of the hallway, so I wanted to see if it would soft-lock without them.

This hallway is inaccessible without the gum, so my brother skipped a lot of challenges, and then got behind the flames without the plungers. This is a video where we saw for ourselves whether it soft locked or not.
