Some cities no matter how badly they're run or how high the crime and political corruption is, they're just fun to go visit. Of course if you have a bodyguard with you, that's even better. Nawlins qualifies that way so Paul Simon leads off the Segue City Special today and then the Mayor slides in the Four Tops and just like that it's officially Sunday which means that we officially have to come back to work tomorrow. So we will and the music continues unabated...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
