Florida Judge Thwarts Biden DOJ Legal Ploy in Trump Lawsuit

The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) is fighting back against the ruling to assign a Special Master to review the classified documents seized in the FBI’s raid on President Donald Trump’s home.
A federal judge in Florida just threw a wrench in the Department of Justice's legal case with President Trump. Yesterday, Judge Aileen Cannon appointed the special master requested by President Trump in his lawsuit regarding the FBI's raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence. The Justice Department had filed a motion attempting to stop the appointment, which Judge Cannon denied.
U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon rejected claims from the DOJ that appointing a Special Master would somehow hamper their ability to perform their investigation. And what was really interesting was the careful wording used in her decision, actually calling out the FBI’s own inability to prevent all these leaks, writing in her ruling:
"The Court nonetheless cannot abdicate its control over questions of privilege and does not find the Government’s argument sufficiently convincing as presented. First, there has been no actual suggestion by the Government of any identifiable emergency or imminent disclosure of classified information arising from Plaintiff’s allegedly unlawful retention of the seized property. Instead, and unfortunately, the unwarranted disclosures that float in the background have been leaks to the media after the underlying seizure."
I can’t help but think that this may be the first time in a legal filing that a judge has actually acknowledged the problem of documents being leaked by the FBI. The judge essentially said to the FBI these documents may be less safe with you than they were with the former President. It’s beginning to feel like every time the FBI receives an unfavorable ruling, classified documents suddenly leak to the media. And it can no longer be chalked up to mere coincidence.
The DOJ basically said that they have to maintain exclusive control over the documents for the sake of its investigation. That meant no one could see them, not even the Special Master by the way. The DOJ has been actively opposed to the appointment of the Special Master, hence why they fought to slap a stay on the order. Thankfully the judge said what we’ve been saying for years – the FBI has not proven to be trustworthy when it comes to self-regulation.
ACLJ Colonel Wesley Smith hit the nail right on the head in his assessment of Biden’s Deep State FBI:
"Perhaps there’s information in these documents that makes the FBI look bad. You know Merrick Garland keeps being indignant about us not trusting the FBI. But they continue to do things that, for the average American, breeds distrust of their methods and their motives."
Is there any doubt left that the Deep State Justice Department is rotten to its core? This corruption needs to be exposed and rooted out.
