(The Best Family There Is)
Text: Eph 2
Obj: that the brethren with their family serve the Lord with loving unity

Intro:
Family/Household, spiritual family – define, verses

Characteristics of the Household of God why it is the best and therefore not be forsaken/neglected:
1. The Members of this Family/Household are Saved – vv. 1, 5, 8
a. Therefore, these are the best group of people
b. Instructed against sin/s – vv.2-3 – where problems arise
c. Boasting – not encouraged – v.9
d. Not by the will of man, but God – v. 11, Jn. 1:13
e. Enmity and separation were abolished – v.15
f. Access granted – v.18-19
2. This is a Loving community – v.4
a. The primary proponent of which is the God of great Love Himself -1John 4:7-8
b. Good works is encouraged and expected – v.10
c. We have hope, not as the world – v.12
d. Members have peace in a loving relationship - vv. 15-16 – reconciled
3. Heaven is Our Place – v.6
a. What better place is there? Important part in family life
b. Established building – vv. 20-22
4. Eternity is Our Family Time – v.7
a. “no more parting over there”
Message/conclusion:

Let us with their family serve the Lord with loving unity
