How is the Holy Spirit reproving the world?（Newness of Spirit）

圣灵正在怎样责备世人？(Alin)

There are many religious people in the world but not all are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many consider themselves to be christians and read the bible. Many people read about the Holy Spirit but it's not about that and most don't know Him. The truth is that the Holy Spirit made very few people His abode. The Holy Spirit does not dwell with sin practicing bible readers. The Holy Spirit dwells with those faithful to their Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.

世界上有许多宗教徒，但并非所有的人都是主耶稣基督的门徒。许多人认为自己是基督徒，也在读圣经，他们也读到了关于圣灵的记录，但与他们读没读过无关，大多数人并不认识圣灵。真相是，圣灵只住在极少的人里面。圣灵并不住在边读圣经边犯罪的人里面。圣灵住在那些忠于他们的主——耶稣基督的人里面。

The Lord Jesus Christ said in John 14:

主耶稣基督在约翰福音第14章说：

"15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

15“你们若爱我，就必遵守我的命令。 16我要求父另外赐一位护慰者给你们，祂要永远和你们同在。 17祂是真理的灵，世人不接受祂，因为他们看不见祂，也不认识祂；但你们却认识祂，因祂常与你们同在，并且要住在你们里面。

And then in chapter 16 the Lord said:

然后在第16章，主说：

"7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9of sin, because they believe not on me; (Through His disciples, the Holy Spirit reproves the unbelievers) 10of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;(The Lord was going to be crucified by sin practicing religious people whom today the Holy Spirit reproves of righteousness) 11of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged."(The Holy Spirit reproves and warns the world of the judgement that is to come).

7然而，我把实情告诉你们，我去对你们是有益的，因为如果我不去，护慰者就不会来，我去了就会派祂到你们这里来。 8祂来了，就要在罪、义、审判方面责备世人。 9在罪方面责备他们，是因为他们不信我；（圣灵会藉他的门徒责备不信的人） 10在义方面责备他们，是因为我要去父那里，你们再也看不到我了；（主耶稣要被犯罪的宗教徒们钉死，今天圣灵责备他们的义） 11在审判方面责备他们，是因为这世界的王受了审判（圣灵责备并警告世人即将到来的审判）。

The Lord Jesus Christ wants a daily relationship with us based on faithful obedience because He is not a book, He is Alive, He is Risen and He promised to not leave us as orphans. This is why the Holy Spirit reminds us the Lord's precious teachings and commandments even if or when we don't have a bible.

主耶稣基督希望与我们建立一个日常关系，这个关系基于我们忠诚的顺服。因为他并不是一本书，他是活着的，他已经复活，他应许不会撇下我们为孤儿。这就是为什么即使我们没有圣经，或者当我们没有圣经时，圣灵会使我们想起主的宝贵的教导和命令。

The manuscripts that make up the bible were written thousands of years ago by people guided by the Holy Spirit. But what about us? Is the Holy Spirit guiding us? Have we established that same relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ? Have we received His Holy Spirit? Is He teaching us and guiding us and reproving others through us? Is He showing us things to come? Or are we stuck with an image of God that was Alive and Active in the past?

今天圣经里的各个书卷是几千年前的人被圣灵引导着写下来的。但是我们呢？圣灵在引导我们吗？我们与主耶稣基督建立了同样的关系吗？我们领受了他的圣灵吗？圣灵在教导我们，引导我们，并通过我们责备他人吗？他向我们揭示了有关将来的事情吗？还是我们依然停留上帝“曾经”是活着的，过去他“曾”指引过人们对人说话的印象中？
