Chicago Bears news starts with a pair of roster moves as OL Michael Schofield has been re-signed to the Bears active roster. To re-sign Schofield, Chicago placed OL Alex Leatherwood on the NFI List as he’s come down with mononucleosis, aka mono, according to Matt Eberflus. Leatherwood will miss the next 4 weeks with the illness, but Eberflus says “we feel great about where he is and him coming back” at some point during the 2022 NFL Season.

Today’s Chicago Bears Injury Report has dropped following Bears practice at Halas Hall. WR Velus Jones Jr., who missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury, was limited at practice today. OL Riley Reiff also appeared on the injury report as he was also limited with a shoulder injury. For the Packers, OL David Bakhtiari & Elgton Jenkins practiced after missing last week’s games. WR Allen Lazard also returned to practice. Both the Bears and Packers could be close to full strength for this NFL Week 2 Sunday Night Football game.
