Pistol Trigger Control

Trigger control is extremely important on firearms of all types, but it can be particularly obvious in handguns even at close range.
Here I demonstrate proper form a couple times, then various goofs.
The main rule of thumb is that you should grip firmly and evenly, but not be clenching with your shooting hand. You should squeeze the trigger smoothly and with only enough force to make it work, not slapping the trigger backwards. Everything is a smooth controlled motion, no matter how quickly you might do it.

I'm using my project 1911 since it so rarely makes it into videos. It started life as a Springfield Armory Mil-Spec stainless. I've replaced essentially all the small parts except the barrel link. All that's left is to get decent sights put on it and the finish cleaned up, since it's got a few different "stainless" shades plus a bunch of marks that were (mostly) on there when I bought it very well used. She's not super pretty, but she shoots great.
