For the first two months of life, lion cubs feed only on milk, often a lioness feeds on the milk of both her own and other cubs.
At the age of 7 months (up to 10) they switch to a completely meat-based diet.
At the age of 6 weeks, the cubs are already frolicking around the den and trying "adult" food for the first time.
