The first time I saw flamingo people in Cuba was at a place called Caia Coco. Two birds stood gracefully in a small pond. Every day we went to admire them. Flamingo is perhaps the most exotic and very beautiful bird, proudly wearing pink, reaching to scarlet plumage. Pink-operated birds are always special, too unusual, such a coloration among the overwhelming gray-white-black feathered kingdom. The pink pelican, the pink starling, the pink lentil are dressed in pink or pinkish feathers, the pink heron is on the verge of extinction ... It is rare that anyone managed to see the pink seagull.

There are various reasons for pink plumage. In most species, water chicks are pinkish to light or turn pink gradually. The flaming wind chicks are dirty white in the light, and later, due to food, they acquire a reddish tint. Large colonies of this bird live in Asia, Europe, Europe, America. And their habitats are salt lakes, sea coasts, shallow lagoons, where they feed mainly on seafood and algae, wealth and carotenoids, pollution, covering and absorbing feathers of a juicy pinkish-orange hue. Agree, such a simple observation does not want to be expected at all, admiring the magnificent birds.
