Justice Department signals they’re open to one of Trump’s special master candidates

On Monday, the Justice Department signaled they were open to one of the Trump legal team’s picks for special master, senior Judge Raymond J. Dearie, to potentially review the material seized in the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago last month.

Judge Aileen Cannon has yet to announce her choice from the candidates proposed by the Department of Justice and the Trump legal team.
