Do I have to tell my banker if I sell my apartment complex with owner finance to a buyer?

Good question.

Technically when you do this the bank could call the note due saying that a sale has occurred. However, in most cases banks won’t bother you about it as long as the buyer that you sold it to makes the payments on your loan on time.

If you need help with something like this and have already sold your apartment community or are thinking about selling your apartment community, contact my office at www.benjaminzmiller.com by filling out the contact form or emailing ben@benjaminzmiller.com. I can look at your situation and give my thoughts on what would be the best course of action for you.

I offer education and training to landlords, engineers, doctors and dentists, and many others that would like to learn how to enjoy the benefits of multifamily as quickly as possible. If that sounds interesting contact my office by going to www.benjaminzmiller.com and fill out the contact form.

I hope that helps and good luck with your investing!
