1. The Armenian Ministry of Defense published a video showing Azerbaijani units heading towards the border areas. The Armenian department reported that the enemy troops later retreated, having suffered losses.

The footage shows several dozen armed men walking through the hills. After some time, they lie down and begin to scatter - perhaps they opened fire on them.

On the night of September 13, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported on artillery shelling from Azerbaijan. In turn, the military department of Azerbaijan stated that the Armenian Armed Forces committed a provocation by firing at the strongholds of the Azerbaijani army in the Dashkesan, Kelbajar and Lachin regions. Later, Baku and Yerevan agreed on a ceasefire in the border areas. The mode is set from 09.00 am local time.

2. Russia calls on Yerevan and Baku to refrain from further escalation, exercise restraint and observe the ceasefire in accordance with the trilateral agreements of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that they are in close contact with representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan. An appeal was received from Yerevan with a request to assist in resolving the situation in accordance with the existing bilateral agreements and through the CSTO.

"We expect that the agreement reached as a result of Russian mediation on a ceasefire from 09:00 am local time on September 13 this year will be implemented in full," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry last night reported that the Armenian armed forces had conducted large-scale sabotage on the border between the two countries by mining areas located between positions where Azerbaijani army units are deployed and supply routes. A clash followed emergency measures by the Azerbaijani military to immediately thwart the sabotage, the Defense Ministry said. According to Azerbaijan, response measures have been taken to resolutely prevent the armed conflict from expanding.
