Queen Elizabeth’s ‘secret’ letter to Sydney

The late Queen wrote a secret letter to the people of Sydney, but no one will know what it says for more than 60 years.
Written in November 1986 and addressed to the Lord Mayor of Sydney, the instruction reads: “On a suitable day to be selected by you in the year 2085AD, would you please open this envelope and convey to the citizens of Sydney my message to them.”
