The plantation was built in Virginia during the mid 17th century near Jamestown on Swanns Point Road (now in Surry County) George Surry, born in England, died in 1678 in Surry County, Virginia. His estate is found on VirginiaPioneers.net, in Vol. 1671-84, page 295. (available to members of VirginiaPioneers.net)
