Dr. Vladimir Zev Zelenko M.D. was a board certified family physician. Dr. Zelenko had practiced family medicine in New York’s Hudson Valley. He has been described by his patients as a family member to thousands of families, and was a medical adviser to the volunteer ambulance corps in Kiryas Joel, New York. Dr. Zelenko was known for developing his now famous “Zelenko Protocol,” which has saved countless lives worldwide.

Z-Stack™ is one of Dr. Zelenko's premier products that he specifically designed. With decades of experience in the medical field, the knowledge Dr. Zelenko has gained over the years led to him formulating his own supplement, which we now know as Z-Stack™.
After careful examination, Dr. Zelenko put together an all-natural formula design for supporting the natural defense system of the body

Suggested Use:
Take 2 capsules once per day with food.

Ingredients:
- Vitamine C (ascorbit acid) 800mg
- Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) (5000IU) 125 mcg
- Zinc (zinc sulfate) 30 mg
- Quercetin 500 mg

Quercetin
Quercetin was discovered by the Nobel Prize winner Albert Szent-Gyorgyi. Quercetin, a zinc ionophore, is known for its antioxidant activity, antiviral activity, and more.
Quercetin has a number of great health-promoting benefits. Peer reviewed literature shows potential benefits of Quercetin include the ability to help reduce inflammation and to improve the immune system.
The scientific community has published a significant amount of research on quercetin, including clinical trials.

Zinc
Zinc is found in cells throughout the body. It helps the immune system fight off invading bacteria and viruses. Zinc is essential for our immune system because it affects how our cells respond to infections. It can also help keep inflammation under control.
Zinc increases the activation of cells in the body that are responsible for fighting infection. It also activates enzymes that break down proteins in viruses and bacteria to reduce the chances of spreading.
Due to its direct antiviral properties, it can be assumed that safe zinc administration is likely beneficial for most of the population, especially those with suboptimal zinc status.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D is essential to a healthy immune system as it initiates the adaptive immune response. It promotes the expression of a protein called cathelicidin which can promote the stimulation of T cells to help support an immune response. The link between vitamin D and viral infections was observed during winter months when vitamin D levels are generally lower.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin well known for its role in supporting a healthy immune system. Vitamin C contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system. Because our bodies cannot make vitamin C, it must come from the foods you eat every day.

The Potential Impact of Zinc Supplementation on COVID-19 Pathogenesis
May 4, 2022
Due to its direct antiviral properties, it can be assumed that zinc administration is beneficial for most of the population, especially those with suboptimal zinc status.
This study discusses the potential of zinc as preventive and therapeutic agent alone or in combination with other strategies.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are impaired smell and taste, fever, cough, sore throat, general weakness, pain as aching limbs, runny nose, and in some cases diarrhea. In the subsequent chapters, we will associate most of those symptoms with altered zinc homeostasis and explain how zinc might prevent or attenuate those symptoms, as summarized in Figure 1, and thus should be regarded as promising cost-effective, globally available therapeutic approach for COVID-19 patients, for which minimal to no side effects are known.

Quercetin and Vitamin C: An Experimental, Synergistic Therapy for the Prevention and Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 Related Disease (COVID-19)
The use of Vitamin C and Quercetin both for prophylaxis in high-risk populations and for the treatment of COVID-19 patients as an adjunct is promising.

It is imperative to study and develop pharmacological treatments suitable for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Ascorbic acid is a crucial vitamin necessary for the correct functioning of the immune system. It plays a role in stress response and has shown promising results when administered to the critically ill. Quercetin is a well-known flavonoid whose antiviral properties have been investigated in numerous studies. There is evidence that vitamin C and quercetin co-administration exerts a synergistic antiviral action due to overlapping antiviral and immunomodulatory properties and the capacity of ascorbate to recycle quercetin, increasing its efficacy.
Safe, cheap interventions which have a sound biological rationale should be prioritized for experimental use in the current context of a global health pandemic. We present the current evidence for the use of vitamin C and quercetin both for prophylaxis in high-risk populations and for the treatment of COVID-19 patients as an adjunct to promising pharmacological agents such as Remdesivir or convalescent plasma.
